Chinese New Year is just two days away! This is probably the most important festive season for Chinese people all over the world. In Mandarin, Chinese New Year (or Lunar New Year) is known by various names, but the most common ones are probably<\/p>\n
\u201c\u6625\u8282\u201d ch\u016bnji\u00e9<\/strong> \u2013 which literally means \u2018Spring Festival\u2019, and \u201c\u519c\u5386\u65b0\u5e74\u201d n\u00f3ng l\u00ec x\u012bn ni\u00e1n<\/strong> \u00a0\u2013 \u2018Lunar Calendar New Year\u2019 Celebrations can last for 15 days. In some regions, only 3 days, but the festive mood lingers. For the year 2013, the Lunar New Year\u2019s Day falls on 10th Feb.<\/p>\n Are you ready to learn some New Year greetings to impress your Chinese friends? They can be used up till the 15th day, so you have enough time to practise!
